## Important limitations

- Automatic detection applies to faces only.
- QR codes, emails, phone numbers, addresses, IDs, license plates and secrets require manual review and masking.
- Face detection is best-effort and can miss faces or suggest incorrect regions.
- Users must review the entire image and the exported copy before sharing.
- Metadata removal does not hide information still visible in image pixels.
- The public video page is a privacy guide; a production video anonymizer is not currently available.
- The PDF page explains safe redaction; a production PDF-redaction editor is not currently available.
- Blur and pixelation can leave readable or inferable information; use opaque blackout over complete sensitive text regions.
- Local image editing does not mean an offline website: application assets and the face model are downloaded. Optional advertising is separate and subject to consent.
- Input formats depend on browser decoding support. PNG, JPEG and WebP are common; HEIC is browser-dependent. Output is PNG only.
- No watermark or crop tool is currently provided.
